Motorcycle accidents can cause devastating injuries and they are often the result of another driver not paying close enough attention to the road. Motorcycles can be hard to see and they offer little protection when accidents occur.

In 2007, according to the Missouri Highway Patrol, there were 89 reported fatalities in Missouri involving a motorcycle. There were 804 not involving a motorcycle. Considering the small percentage of vehicles motorcycle are compared to cars it is pretty clear that the injuries involved in these accidents can be the worst kind.
